My milestone is not exactly one thing in my life, but more the stage in life that I am at. Within the last year, I have accomplished a number of goals and have become an independent adult at the point in life where I am just starting to "take off" and make my own way. I have been fortunate enough to have started a job that is a career. I am an emergency dispatcher and it is the first job that is more than just work. It is where I am supposed to be and I am doing something I love. I am excited to be where I am and it is rewarding to know that I am helping people at often some of the worst moments of their lives. I am at a point in my life where things are starting to come together the way I have planned and worked for and I am excited to be reaching goals that have been distant for many years, but are now at my fingertips.
